Well, because the kids picked the menu this week, I only thought it was fair that they take part in preparing the meals this week! They have LOVED every minute of it, and although cooking has always been my therapy/"me" time, I have enjoyed sharing my sanctuary and the precious memories we have made this week.

Tonight we had "sausage rolls" (aka hot dogs with cheese in a crescent roll). They were SO proud to make them without any help from dear ol' Mom. Everyone had seconds and had plenty to chat about at the dinner table! I was in heaven!

And it's not a normal week in our house without a pitcher of kool aid! Chloe is always on patrol to assess the kool aid "situation" and is so proud that she knows the "recipe" by heart!
