Horray!!! I am so pleased to report that last night's "party on the patio" was a great success!!! And the best part was there were no uninvited "guests" (aka - stray animals) in attendance. Although it was a bit hot, we enjoyed a yummy dinner of fajitas, queso, chips, fruit, and refreshing drinks -- we had maragritas & the kids had kool aid. We fininshed the meal off with ice cream and it was perfect! Makes me excited for summer so much more! I can't wait until that is an every day thing!
I honestly thought this was the most refreshing sight of the evening, until I came in to find this....
Oh yeah! That's the rest of the family hard at work cleaning the kitchen! Whoo Hoo! I was able to relax and just take it all in. I have a feeling this was inspired by this upcoming Sunday. I sure wish it was an everyday thing though! It was fun to have everyone in the same room working together! The kids were reminded of the theme from family camp last summer... "Working together makes life better" based on Ecclesiastes 4:9. What a great family I am blessed with! Turning it into a teachable moment made it that much better!
He looks like a natural if you ask me! I love this guy! He's SO good to me!
