Fun with Friends!

Last night after the kids cooked dinner we met up with some friends downtown at the children's museum.  They had a great time and it was great to see more of what Abilene has to offer.  So far I'm finding it to be a very friendly place to live with lots to offer our family!  Yes, of course, the shopping here lacks a little, but the bare neccessities are covered... Target, Dillards, good grocery store... check, check and check!  Everything else is icing on the cake!

Learning about tornados (look that the expression on Colby's face! LOL!).... funny enough, we were actually under a tornado watch until about 30 minutes ago.  Lovin' that west Texas weather! (Ugh!)

It was also craft night at the museum... and oh my do my kiddos LOVE crafts!  (The game room at our house is a constant testimony to that! LOL!)  It was "make your own bandana night" and after 20 minutes of diligent coloring and concentration they proudly displayed their hard work!

Overall everyone gave it two thumbs up!  It was a great way to spend the evening!
