Whew! I was literally just sitting here wondering what in the world we're going to eat this week (especially with Jarred gone AGAIN), and then it hit me.... it's MONDAY!! Monday used to mean, blah, longing for the weekend, and resentment that yes, I did have to get up early. However, I have a new found sense of excitement for it.... meal planning, a trip to the grocery store (which honestly is one of my favorite things to do!!!), and the cream on top... HIP HOP LESSONS! Yeah! I have to admit, I was espeially blah this morning because yesterday I was notified that my facebook account had been "comprimised" and they had disabled it. I'm still waiting to hear exactly what happened and if/when I'll be able to get it back, but until then I'm going to enjoy my "extra" time that I would have spent on facebook!
So, here goes... I'm going to keep it kid-friendly and minimal effort because I'm feeling the need to conserve energy to make it through the 3rd week of Jarred traveling. Ha!
Monday: Sauteed Chicken with Garlic Rice Pilaf, & green beans
Tuesday: Tacos & Spanish Rice
Wednesday: Baked Chicken with Biscuits & Gravy, snow peas
Thursday: leftovers (or frozen pizza)
Friday: Breakfast for dinner! (homemade blueberry muffins, eggs, & bacon)
I'm off to go write my grocery list. It's a rainy dreary day and it could possibly snow this afternoon. I'm going to cheer myself up with Starbucks on my way to the grocery store!

ReplyDeleteLove it! Rainy and dreary here, too, so after I pick Meg up from school, I'm making a Starbucks run, too! Gotta keep my eyes open for the rest of the afternoon/evening (I'm alone, too).
