All smiles before the first day of 1st grade!!!
He was so excited to start 2nd grade!
In our district, elementary is K - 2nd, so that means he's a "big man on campus"! LOL!
And we decided to let the kids start riding the bus home this year! They love it because they get to hang out with all the neighborhood kids and "plan out" what they're going to play after homework is done!
And here's "Little Miss Chloe" on her first day of 3 year old preschool! She is enrolled at a program at the church we go to, and she was BEYOND excited for school to finally start! She's asked me several times every day (SINCE MAY!!!), "Momma, when are my teachers gonna hurry up and get back from vacation?" LOL!
That's our "Silly Goose"! She was pretending to be a duck! Isn't her outfit the cutest thing you've ever seen???

And then she decided maybe school was not such a good idea....
This broke my heart! She was in tears and wouldn't even sit at the table to paint! Seriously, what child doesn't live and love to paint! (Although secretly I was thankful she passed on that activity. I would have been devestated if her new outfit was ruined with red paint the first time she wore it. I know, I was "that" mom, dressing her child in fancy clothes for preschool. Being a former teacher I know how annoying this can be, but I promised them I wouldn't do it again. LOL!) I was so sad to hear she didn't have a good day on Tuesday, but thankfully her teachers told me today was MUCH better, that she has fully adjusted, made lots of friends, and had a GREAT day today! YEA!!!
I love Chloe's outfit! Glad today was better and that she is adjusting!
