Don't Blink....

Ok, I'm going to try my hardest not to cry.....  HOW has EIGHT YEARS flown by??????  I still remember the first time I laid eyes on the most precious handsome baby boy in my life... it was 4:43 am on September 14, 2002.  Thank you Jesus for blessing me with such a precious gift.... Colby Hudson!

(alright... enough, I'm getting all weepy... ) 


Because my scrapbook stuff still has yet to be organized since we moved, and eight years ago we still used this thing called "film" for pictures --- (remember when we had to actually WAIT for them to be developed to see what pictures looked like!!!!  LOL!) -- my selection of pictures of Colby is limited.  Don't get me wrong, I have hundreds, if not thousands, of my little man growing up throughout the years, but getting to them at this point is a little overwhelming.  So, here are some of my favorites that I was able to come across. LOL!

Gotta love that Aggie spirit!!!!

  He used to REQUEST the "Spirit of Aggieland" and the "Aggie War Hymn" for bedtime songs!  He still knows them by heart, and when he was the "star of the week" in his 4 year old preschool he sang the war hymn for his show & tell!  LOL!!!  What made it even better was that we lived in Lubbock at the time!  Not exactly what a room full of red raiders-in-training wanted to hear!  LOL!!!
