Vacation - Week 2: Viva Mexico!!!!

Hola! Well, we've almost been home a week and I finally feel back to my ol' self again.  I guess Mexico just took it out of me!  LOL!  More likely it's easy to just get used to the routine of wake up, apply sunscreen, eat and lay by the pool all day with an occasional walk on the beach, and finish the day off with a fun date with my hubby.  LOL!  We had another AMAZING time and I'm already looking forward to next year!

Our friends, Kevin & Joanne, went with us this year - they were celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary.  I'm firmly convinced vacations are more fun with friends!!!  Joanne & I spent countless hours by the pool and had a luxerious day at the spa, and the boys had all kinds of adventures scuba diving, playing beach volleyball, and golfing!!  I'll only post a few pics here, I have probably over 100 on my facebook page which I'm sure most of you have already seen.

On our first afternoon there we decided to make up a game where we drank our way through the alphabet. We all participated and it ended up being a lot of fun and a good way to try new drinks! Hey! When it's all inclusive, you have to branch out a little! LOL! Here's a list of a few of our beverages...some letters were obviously harder than others, but with a little creativity and help from other hotel guests we did it!

The water there is amazing!  This was the first year we actually got more than just our feet wet!

I'm thinking I'm going to learn some spanish this next year so I can understand and communicate a little better.  The vocabulary I've learned from watching Dora & Diego with the kids doesn't seem to get me too far! LOL!  If you're looking to take a vacation some place warm and luxerious let us know.  We usually go in mid-June or early July and the more the merrier!!!
