Here's a quick re-cap of our halloween festivities....
Preparing the pumpkins
Jarred carving away... he chose to make a pirate ship.
(Isn't he handsome??? I LOVE this guy!)
Ahoy! There she glows!!! LOL!
My carving on the other hand was much more intense. I chose a "difficult" pattern.
WHAT was I thinking?????
SUCCESS!!!!
And you can't carve pumpkins without roasting the seeds! MMmmm!
This year we had plain salted ones and adobe chili pepper ones. Tasty!
Nana all ready to pass out the goodies.
My Lil' Witchy Woman!
Oooh. Scary swamp monster!
My "mini me".
Madeline insisted on dressing up like a marathon runner (just like her momma). I was so proud it didn't even bother me that she refused to wear the costume we spent $25 on. LOL!!!
Oh yes! Taking advantage of EVERY opportunity to wear our precious medals!
Trick-or-treating "country style"!!!
Since the houses out here are all on acre or bigger lots and there are no street lights and/or sidewalks our sweet friends took us around the neighborhood hayride style! It was so much fun and such a beautiful night with PERFECT weather!
Oh my goodness!!! Can you say candy overload!!!
And apparently even Nala has a sweet tooth! She is constantly sneaking lollipops and smarties! Seriously! It's like having another kid! LOL!
